Slow Fall Is Key
The 550ST-3/16 (3/16oz) has a slow fall. Because this worm is long and skinny it possesses finesse characteristics. A deadly combination! This worm will produce bites, either day or night, under tough fishing conditions. It can be used with either a spin casting or a bait casting outfit in shallow water. When chosen for deep water a spin casting outfit with light line is recommended. Recommended lines sizes for this bait include 10lbs, 8lbs or 6lbs line.

The "Go-To" Worm
If you can't decide then buy this model in your favorite color. The 550ST-1/4 is a 1/4oz. model that is a "go-to" worm for all fishing conditions. Its 1/4oz head is perfectly balanced for its length. It can be used with a bait casting as well as a spinning outfit. For many anglers this will be the most used worm in the WiredWorm product lineup.

Get Deep and Feel the Bottom
The 550ST-5/16 is a 5/16oz. model that is an excellent model if you want to feel the bottom or need your worm to bang and bound off the rocks. It can be used for deep water fishing or swimming the worm across shallow flats using a bump and run technique. This combination can also be used with the "counting rocks" technique where an angler methodically drags the worm along the bottom very slowly feeling every rock on the bottom. If the wind is blowing and you need to feel the worm then this is your bait.
